Microfiber Ceramic Coating Applicator With Plastic Barrier

One of the most common complaints with microfiber applicators is that they absorb too much product. As premium, high cost coatings have become more common in the industry, this issue has only become more noticeable. While microfiber applicators make coating application faster, easier, and more consistent, most coatings have a low viscosity, meaning they flow easily and soak through the microfiber into the foam core, wasting valuable product.

The solution is the wax sponge. It features a built in hydrophobic barrier layer between the microfiber surface and the sponge core. This layer prevents excess coating from soaking through the microfiber and being absorbed into the sponge. It also reduces internal product buildup that can become gummy or tacky as the coating begins to cure.
