In 2016, after partnering with his father for nearly two decades, Curt Gorsh saw an opportunity to better serve the Des Moines area by founding Peak Distributing. Since then, Peak Distributing has emerged as a leading provider of automotive goods in central Iowa.

With the support of his wife, Cari, and their children Lucas and Alexis, Curt has cultivated strong relationships with clients and vendors, rooted in family values.

Over the past 30 years, Curt has expanded his sales territory to cover not only Iowa but also neighboring states and the Des Moines area. His dedication to offering top-quality products has made him a trusted figure in the industry.

Looking ahead, Curt aims to grow his customer base and strengthen ties with vendors, with his son Lucas poised to eventually take the reins of the family business. Lucas, currently a Senior at the University of Iowa, aspires to continue the legacy established by his father, becoming the third generation to lead in the business, since Curt's father started Mid Iowa Sales in 1978.
